The 10th anniversary celebration of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme was successfully conducted at EMRS Suntoley by the Women & Children, Senior Citizens, and Divyangjan Welfare Department, Government of Sikkim, Namchi District with great enthusiasm and participation.
The event served as a platform to reflect on the achievements and progress made under the scheme in the past decade, emphasizing the significance of girls' education, empowerment, and gender equality. Various activities were organized, including awareness programs, panel discussions  and interactive sessions, all aimed at promoting the message of women’s rights and social inclusion.
Dignitaries, government officials, teachers, students, and community members actively participated in the celebration, sharing inspiring stories of change and success. Special awards and recognition were given to individuals and organizations that have significantly contributed to the upliftment and education of girls in the region.
The program concluded with a collective pledge to continue working towards a more inclusive and equitable society, ensuring that every girl receives the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
